- Staying safe on the ground — approaching, leading, and where not to stand.
- Grooming basics — which brush comes first and what to look out for.
- Meet the tack — saddle, bridle, girth and stirrups, with a labelled diagram.
- Your first ride — mounting, sitting, and asking for walk and halt.
- A glossary — the words everyone at the barn uses without explaining.
Whatever ends up here, your coach comes first. A guide can help you feel ready, but the people at your barn know their horses and their rules. Always follow them.
