About this course
Alberta's Chemistry 30 has four units: thermochemical changes; electrochemical changes; chemical changes of organic compounds; and chemical equilibrium focusing on acid-base systems. Electrochemistry is split here into two — the redox ideas first, then the cells built from them — and equilibrium into two, since acid-base equilibrium is where most of the exam's calculation questions live. Together the six units cover the whole course.
