Each row is one amount written three ways, with one of them given. Fill in the other two. Every one of them is some number of hundredths, which is the trick that links all three.

Write the shaded part three ways
Three ways to write it
1/2 = 0.5 = 50%; 1/4 = 0.25 = 25%; 3/10 = 0.3 = 30%; 3/4 = 0.75 = 75%; 7/100 = 0.07 = 7%; 9/10 = 0.9 = 90%. The grid: 40/100 (or 2/5) = 0.4 = 40%. 0.6 is 60 hundredths and 55% is 55 hundredths, so 0.6 is more.
Writing every amount as hundredths first is the move that makes this easy: 3/10 is 30/100, which is 0.30, which is 30%. The fractions that simplify — 1/2, 1/4, 3/4 — are the ones worth knowing by heart.
