Rights and responsibilities

Rights: freedom of religion, equal treatment, peaceful expression. Responsibilities: obeying the law, caring for the environment, helping others, respecting others' rights. Voting is both — the right to vote is protected, and using it is a responsibility.

Responsibilities are the half children find harder to list, and the half that is easiest to practise at nine.
